Mike started with Ferguson Commercial Real Estate Services in June 2002 and quickly moved from intern to agent by completing his first leasing transaction before the end of the summer. He recently graduated from The University of Iowa with a degree in Finance, where he also received a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
Mike entered the world of business as a freshman at Dowling High School with his first business venture, Superior Lawn Care. Since that time, he has continued to prosper and grow in the world of business. He continues as the owner, in addition to being an associate property manager for M & M Development Company.
While at the University of Iowa, Mike was a volunteer for Junior Achievement, where he taught young students about business, and also served as a guest speaker in the Iowa City high schools for the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Department at the University of Iowa.
As an active member in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Mike showed his leadership skills by serving as the House Manager for four consecutive semesters. During this period, he was an integral part of the design and construction of the interior and exterior renovations to the fraternity house. Currently, Mike is a member of the Iowa Beta Housing Corporation for the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter at the University of Iowa.
